Helping hands from sign language to bone marrow how three CSUMB students turned requirements into community service

While some college seniors spend their last weeks scrambling to
study for finals and submit papers, pending graduates of California
State University, Monterey Bay are compiling months, if not years,
of work for their capstone projects - a year-end assignment
relating to their field. Many students conduct research in cities
near the campus. As they strive to complete their projects and
graduate, some find even greater satisfaction in giving back to
their neighborhood. Three CSUMB students share their stories.
